3 Template Pet Peeves and How To Solve Them

When someone clicks onto your blog, the very first impression you're going to make will be your template.  If it's chaotic, readers looking for hassle-free information will be instantly turned off.  You don't want to make your followers work to find the information you put so much time into producing.  Having a template that works for you and your followers is a must.

Here are a few common mistakes that really tweak my tail, why they're damaging to your image, and some suggestions about how to fix them.

The Game is On (Again)

If you are a college student and a blogger and haven't gone on random, unannounced six-month hiatuses, kudos.

I don't even remember how to properly spell blogosphere.  My fingers have forgotten; I had to slow down and double check.  Blogging isn't natural anymore.  I've lost the touch.

This post was originally going to be about why I stopped blogging, and then it was going to be about what I planned to do in order to get back in the game, but now I just want it to be a post where I can say: Hey, I'm back, but I may not be around as often as you might think, though that doesn't mean I don't want to hear from you.

I'll just say this: It astounds me how bookworms tend to be introverted and yet are remarkably extroverted online.  I admire it greatly, mostly because I seem to be the only person whose introversion so tragically follows them into the inter webs.  Everyone else seems to have their introversion trained to sit and stay while they go away.  My introversion is like a disobedient two-year-old with separation anxiety.

Okay, well.

And, what recent release are you most excited about?  Come on, guys, help catch me up.  I'm so out of the loop right now.  What new release are you looking forward to most?
