Q: What is the last book that kept you up late into the night just to finish it?
A: Firstly, I cherish my sleep -- no, I covet my sleep. So the kind of awesomeness that a singular book would have to possess in order to convince me to push off my devoted sleep would have to be on an astronomical level. On that note, Sweetly by Jackson Pearce had me so riveted and up so late, I blinked one time and nearly fell asleep right then and there. I had to force my eyes to stay open because gosh darn it, I was going to find out what happened before I went to bed. There was no question of "I can just finish it in the morning." No. Sweetly takes no prisoners.
